J1939 Multipacket Transmit Script Example hot!

This is a CANCapture project workspace that includes a script and layout to perform multipacket transmits following the SAE J1939 Transport Protocol. This example shows how to transmit a Broadcast Announce Message (BAM) sequence - it uses CANCapture's built in scripting ability for creating and sending the packet sequence. In this example, every time the script receives a message, it transmits a BAM sequence of packets.

ASC Recorder Script - Workspace Export File hot!

Import this file into your workspace to add a script block that can be used for recording/logging to ASC files. To use this file, simply right-click on your workspace chart and click "Import Selection" and then browse to and select the file. Once imported into your CANCapture workspace, simply connect a stream of CAN packets to the new "ASC Recorder" function block and now every time a packet is received, it will be logged to an ASC file. To modify the destination filename, double click on the "ASC Recorder" block and change the first line to the filename you wish to record to.

Another recording from a boat out on the water using an EControls ECM. Just create a "Live Replay Block" in CANCapture and set the filename in the properties to point to this file. You can do anything with this file just as if it were "live" data.
