Using the example code which appears when you create a new script block I can show you the data I am trying to filter. See attached image.

Using 'IF' statements is it possible to create an advanced filter and then in turn send each corner to an individual gauge on the user panel.

If so could someone show me how to create the code to do this, even just for one corner and I can copy and alter it to work for the others.

Thanks http://www.cancapture.com/images/fbfiles/images/cancapture.JPG...

I currently have the vehicle weight displaying on a graph.

The vehicle weight PGN 65258, is refreshed at 1hz and cycles through each of the 4 wheels in turn. Front Left, Front Right, Rear Left and Rear Right. So I recieve 4 values before it returns to the first wheel and updates that value.

Ideally what I would like to do is set up a user panel so that I have four numeric displays each representing one wheel that will show only that wheels current weight.

At the minute, because it cycles through t...

Nope, that driver doesn't work. Still gives the same problem. The device in system manager says the following message:

This Device Is Not Configured Correctly. (Code 1)

But on another laptop (the exact model/windows, etc) it works fine....

It sounds like the best way to do this would be to create a custom CANCapture script.

The scripts do not have built in support for timers, so what I would suggest is to use a transmitter block to send a recurring "dummy" packet that goes only to the script block. Then when the script block receives this "dummy" packet at whichever interval you set, it can then change the packet to the same PGN as the FUEL LEVEL. It will then have to insert the FUEL LEVEL value into the data where you can apply whatever...

Sorry for the delay, I just missed this post.

I have never seen this problem before.

Could it be a 64-bit OS you are trying to install? If so, make sure you have downloaded the latest driver that supports 64-bit O/S.

This also works for 32-bit and may resolve your problems: http://www.cancapture.com/downloads/doc_download/48-driversetup-v30115.html

Hi,
sorry for my little english.
I have a question.
I'm using CANcapture to emulate a truck can bus.
I'm using default example, and I would like to add a variable :
FUEL LEVEL.
I don't understand how I can do it, and how i can set start value for it?
After this, how i can emulate a behavior for it?
I would like to decrease it linear.
Thanks for your help.
Bye...

Hello,

I need to connect my BMW K1300S bike to my PC for a project I have in mind. Looks like ECOM is exactly what I need. The problem is to connect ECOM to the bike's on board CAN socket. Any idea what kind of a connector I would need?

In general, has anybody used ECOM with a motorcycle? Any comments?

Thanks....

Thanks Jonathan, I appreciate your reply. That is what I was thinking I just wanted to confirm. We have used both the Ford engine & since 2006 the GM 3.0 engine in our aerial equipment at JLG. Would you mind forwarding me your contact information ? Sometimes it might be better to contact you directly instead of in the forum here.

Best regards,
