Import this file into your workspace to add a script block that can be used for recording/logging to ASC files.  To use this file, simply right-click on your workspace chart and click "Import Selection" and then browse to and select the file.  

Once imported into your CANCapture workspace, simply connect a stream of CAN packets to the new "ASC Recorder" function block and now every time a packet is received, it will be logged to an ASC file.  To modify the destination filename, double click on the "ASC Recorder" block and change the first line to the filename you wish to record to.
